Almost Famous 5th Anniversary

Founded in 2004, the Atlanta-based Almost Famous Show is an outlet for artists to be introduced to prominent music industry professionals. Previous attendees of Almost Famous include award winning producers Bryan “Michael” Cox(Usher, Mary J, Mariah Carey), DJ Toomp (T.I., Kanye West, Jeezy, Jay Z), Mr. Collipark (Ying Yang Twins, Soulja Boy, Jamie Foxx); artist managers and A&Rs Chaka Zula (DTP), Kawan “KP” Prather (John Legend) and industry tastemakers TJ Chapman (TJ’s DJ’s) and Core DJs founder Tony Neal.


The Almost Famous Five-Year Anniversary Show will highlight the accomplishments of individuals who advanced their careers throughout the year. Honorees will be up-and-coming stars who have demonstrated an impeccable grind and exceptional talent. In addition to the show, several influential tastemakers in urban music will be honored with a comedic celebrity roast by some of the top comedians in the nation. “With the addition of the comedic roast, I can personally guarantee an unforgettable night of fun, laughs and good music,” says Williams.
